A comeback Medvedev claimed his initial championship for 882 days with success over opponent Moutet in the Almaty Open final.
The athlete, a ex- world number one, has had a difficult period, winning just a single victory at the Grand Slams and undergoing a setback at the US Open.
The player's unpredictability on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his service game in specific - caused him falling of the elite rankings and ultimately splitting with long-time coach his previous coach.
Now collaborating with Johansson and his other coach, the tennis star has consistently progressed in the past month - culminating in a tightly fought competitive triumph over opponent Corentin Moutet.
This marks his maiden title following the Rome competition and first on a hardcourt since that period of 2023.
Victory also indicates he has secured 21 victories at twenty-one various competitions.
"It's the first time I am participating in a event with my children simultaneously, so to secure a title is really nice," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in honour of my second daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I got when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had failed in his past six title deciders, comprising in the German tournament earlier this year.
The player's counter-punching play style and regular reactions on the playing surface had led commentators to doubt if his ability to play at the elite level was finished.
Yet the athlete has implemented adjustments in the last few weeks, making an effort to come to the net and compete positively, supported by an improved service.
He fought back from a deficit in the first set against the difficult Moutet, taking 4 of the last five exchanges to go ahead.
Both players swapped breaks in the following set before the Frenchman, bidding for his maiden ATP Tour championship, took control to push for a third set.
The opponent defended four early-game break points in a tight third set before Medvedev secured a break to that score to close out the victory.
Appropriately, he clinched victory with a rally at the net, with Moutet incapable to control a shot after a lengthy match.
